I’m telling you….I’m Truman Burbank.  This morning I’ve been catching up on my eMarketer daily emails and I came across this article about focusing on customer service.  As I said before, every Marketing 101 student will tell you how important trust and honesty are to build your brand because people talk.  So you better make sure they have something good to say about you.  Your customers are smart.  They’ll shy away from advertising that promises the world because that promise inevitably comes up short.  Show them something they need and give them something they want.  And, for peet’s sake, make sure it doesn’t break.

If companies focus on really valuing their customers, they will come (and stay).  It’s that simple.
